Not only should this not be done to avenge personal grievances but this is also a waste of city resources as each incident is investigated diverting attention from serious issues.If you suspect someone has made a fraudulent 311 call against the city of New York, you can report it by calling 311 or 212-NEW-YORK (212-639-9675). You can also report it online or by calling the City Comptroller.
